Hey guys,
Today I am going to be discussing something different to my past life hacks, food! More specifically though, summer themed, to help you survive the 40-degree weather that is on its way. Some summer themed hacks can be more complex than others, but today I’ll only be focusing on some of the basic ones.
The first one is a great tip given we are starting to get into the warmer months of the year. For a quick slushy that does require all the effort of crushing ice, you can simply put fruit juice poppers into the freezer. Once you’re ready to take a break from the heat, take one of these, hit it on a hard surface a few times (to ensure it’s not a solid brick), cut the top off and then you’re ready to go!
Up next is a useful tip to keep your hands mess-free when eating ice blocks or ice creams. Nothing is worse than having these drip all over your hand when you’re trying to cool down, and this hassle can be solved quickly and easily, just by adding a cupcake wrapper. Cutting a small hole in the bottom of the wrappers to allow the frozen treat’s stick to slot through creates a simple yet effective guard from those nasty drips.
I hope that these tricks make your summer more enjoyable and help keep the heat away!
Oliver
